Government of India sanctioned only 2 Dental Colleges in the country for the year 2012, one of them is at Sidhpur. After Ahmedabad and Jamnagar, this is the 3rd Government Dental College with an intake capacity of 100 students a year. It has got the approval of the Dental Council of India and the first batch is already admitted.
