Government Dental College of Thiruvananthapuram was established in 1959 and it is the oldest dental college of Kerala. Over the decades, the college has earned the reputation of being the best dental college in the state. It was formed with an objective of providing quality education in dentistry. Till now, the college has given numerous eminent doctors to the state. Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram/Trivandrum is affiliated to University of Kerala. The institute offers dental and oral health care education at multiple levels. The courses offered by the college are recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).
