The college was established with the focused objective of bringing intellectual awaking, to impart quality education and to provide dental relief to the people of all works of life. Since its inception in 1992, the college has grown up by leaps and bounds to attain the present state. In the beginning college use to function in its own building near central bus stand. With the objective to start Post Graduation by providing better infrastructure, a new building was constructed on a 6 acres plot at Naganhalli Road, Gulbarga. The building houses all dental & medical departments along with lecturer & examination halls spread over 100,000 sq.ft. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and recognized by Dental Council of India.
