The long awaited need of Medical College in Kota division was fulfilled by the state government by making decision for that purpose on 10.02.1992. The Govt. Medical College Kota came in the existence in March 1992 and Dr. RL Ajmera, Professor Physiology joined on 7th March 1992 as the first principal. This Medical College was recognized by MCI since December 1998.
